NOW & THEN
Do you remember when your only worry was not to be caught at hide-and-seek? And when you went early to sleep? Or when the only thing that you had to study was Christmas carols? And when every afternoon we played at the park?... This was my childhood.
When I was a child I never separate from my teddy beard called Panda. When I was a kid I used to play every afternoon with my sister and my brother with Legos. We always used to build up the Star Wars airplanes. It was very funny. I used to draw and paint with my sister. When I was a kid, I was very elastic because I used to do gymnastics, but now I play basketball. When I was a little girl I loved to go with my mum to a supermarket because I imagined that all the supermarket was mine and I was the shop assistant. When I was a child, I used to cry every time that I had fish on my plate, but now I’m able to eat it. When I was little, I used to go to the swimming pool on summer time, but now I travel with my family and we visit different countries. When I was younger, I didn’t know how to play my family’s traditional cards game, but now I’m able to play cards because I understand it. When I was a kid I always used to wear leggings and tracksuit and when I had to put on jeans I always cried a lot, but now I always wear them. When I was a little kid, I liked to watch the TV but now I only watch Netflix series. When I was younger, every Sunday my dad used to wake us up with music and we used to have breakfast watching the Pink Panther chapter. When I was a child, I used to play basketball with a small basket I had in the room. Now I don’t do any of these things. I miss not having a fixed routine and having time to do things I enjoy.
The school I went to was Pràctiques II. In this school I grew up and I had very good moments. I made friends, some of them today I still have a relationship with. At school the group of friends I had were Joana, Anna, Marina, Júlia, Mireia and Ivet. We used to play in the playground and in the park. I have many good memories of the birthday parties we celebrated together. Anna, Joana and Mireia are the ones that I have more contact because we are in the same high school: INS Ronda. At the high school I met new people. Now my best friends are Tuixent, Joana, Sofia and Alba. Many of my friends are the same that I had when I was a little girl like Javi, Eric, Eloi and Sergi. And the ones that I met on the high school: Joel and Sampietro.

When I was four years old I started to do gymnastics. I started at C.N Lleida (a swimming club) because my father on Saturdays went to swim and at the same time I could practise gymnastics, and I liked it very much so I decided to continue. My parents wanted me to swim because it is very important for a child. When I finished the classes, I practised basketball with my friends. I liked basketball very much. After some years, I stopped going to rhytmic gymnastics and swimming because I started doing synchronised swimming that it is like the two activities all-in-one. At the age of twelve, I left the basketball school and I went to C.B.Lleida (a basketball club). At first of Secondary Education I left synchronised swimming. Nowadays I continue playing basketball in the C.B.Lleida team, and I would like to continue practising this sport for more years.
I went to the Practiques II school. I spent all my childhood there. From P3 to 6th of Primary School. My favourite teacher was Anna the teacher that I had from P3 to 1rst of Primary. I had very good memories from the school. We did different funny activities such as theaters, sleep-away camps, sang carols...
Over the years many things have changed in my life. My routine has completely changed and now I have more responsibilities. My group of friends has also changed. My hobby is still basketball.
I had a very beautiful and happy childhood and that is thanks to my family.
